Laser Cutting Series

Daily Machine Maintenance of Laser Cutter

1.      Do not use bad circulating water that may strictly affect the laser power as well as shorten the laser tube's life. In such cases, we are not responsible for maintenance of laser tube. It is suggested using purified water or distilled water.

2.      The cooling water shall not be less than 30 liters, and shall be enough to cover the submersible pump.

3.      Do check the water temperature at any moment in the process of task. Once the water warms up, replace the water immediately. (The method no need to stop the machine is: let off part of the hot water then let in some cold water.)

4.      Except for special requirements, the adjustment range of the light intensity shall not be more than 80% to avoid the rapid aging of the laser tube.

5.     Need to clean the water tank, the water pump and the in/out water hoses , and also circulatory water change every three days.

**Note: assure the laser diode is full of circulatory water before working.

** The quality of circulatory water will directly influence the service life of laser diode. Purified water is advised and the water temperature should be kept under 35°C. If the water temperature is higher than 35°C, the water should be replaced or the temperature should be decreased by adding ice blocks (chiller or two water tanks are advised).

6.      Need to clean the lens before working everyday. (Attention: Not the time that after working)

7.      Don't remove the reflector 1# and the reflector 2# when cleaning, otherwise you need to readjust the light path.

8.      The reflector 3# and the focuser need to unlade when clean them. After cleaning, the lens shall be firmly installed, but not too tight to avoid broken.

9.      Be sure that the focal distance is on the accurate position, otherwise it will cause bad engraving effects.

10.  To clean table-board with care after the task is completed.

11.  Need to do some cleaning after the task is completed and push the wheelbarrow gently while the electricity is off.

12.  Clean and oiling the Line guide rails every two weeks.

13.  Clean the machine's external facilities (fan, air pump) every two weeks.
